Born to Shine Foundation

Born to Shine Foundation Kenya is a non-profit organization established in January 2019 to bridge the opportunity gap for children from disadvantaged backgrounds and orphans. It identifies and nurtures children’s talents and potential through sports and the arts, including football, tennis, golf, skating, swimming, chess, and music. The Foundation also provides academic scholarships to selected children from underserved communities.

Our program provides transformative life experiences which enable disadvantaged and vulnerable children to discover their talents, build confidence, and realize that their circumstances do not define their future. We don’t simply change lives; we create opportunities that empower children to realize that they were born to shine.

Transforming Lives Through Education

100% Academic Scholarship

In addition to these life-changing activities, the foundation also provides a 100% academic sponsorship to a select number of children from disadvantaged backgrounds to attend Diamond Junior School. This sponsorship allows the children to access a high-quality education in an environment that nurtures their academic and personal growth. The children not only benefit from a solid education but also have access to a wide range of extracurricular activities, such as sports, music, and arts, which further contribute to their development and self-confidence. These activities provide them with opportunities to explore their interests and talents outside the classroom, helping them grow into well-rounded individuals.
